Normal Hoops

Normal hoops may be made from 3/4 inch, 100 psi tubing (the lightest kind), 3/4 inch, 160 psi tubing (heavier), or 1 inch, 100 psi tubing (about the same weight as the 3/4 100 psi, but thicker). Water may also be added for extra weight. The diameter of the hoop is usually from 32 inches to 43 inches.

Beginner Hoops

A good rule of thumb for a beginner's hoop is that it should come up to about lower chest level. It is also better to have a slightly heavier hoop - bigger, heavier hoops spin more slowly, and make it easier to learn new moves.

Decoration

A standard hoop is decorated with 2 colors of tape - a base color and a spiral. Basic colors include: green, red, blue, purple, yellow, black, and white (Pink is also available, but for some reason is more expensive and harder to obtain. I can do pink, but it will cost a couple extra dollars).
Other decoration options include: extra colors, shiney or sparkley colored tape, grip tape, glow tape, UV reactive tape, and decorative ribbon. Prices for each of these options will vary based on how difficult the item is to apply, and how much it costs me to get at the time. Typically, however, each option will only add a couple extra dollars to your total.

Pricing

The cost for a basic, 32-43 inch, 2 color hoop is $25. For extra money, you may choose to make your hoop larger (or smaller, I'll do that for free), heavier, or with extra decorative options.

Shipping

Your hoop will be shipped via USPS wrapped in brown paper. Shipping cost is $15 for one hoop within the continental United States. Combined shipping discounts are available.
